Friday
A rough paraphrasing of an analogy I once heard, referring to the experiences of those who walk a path of enlightenment.
First, mountains and rivers are mountains and rivers.
Then, they are no longer mountains and rivers.
But in the end, mountains and rivers are mountains and rivers again.
I'm currently in phase two, you could say, except the path I'm walking isn't currently towards enlightenment.
