The only thing constant is change

So, since grandma's sick, it's not the best time for me to be headed to Nashville. (Yes, that's my grandma - my dad's mom, 80 years old, living out in California, recently checked into a nursing home. Bit confusing in the last post. At her current rate, she won't make it past Christmas. She's just lost the will to go on, it seems.)

Back here at home, where I suddenly find myself without May 2-4 plans, I've been asked to help start an event planning company. Yoga retreats for one, international event planning (mainly weddings) for another. Same company - just branching out into various retreats. Not sure whether or not it's the best plan, but perhaps pouring myself into something productive (and fun, and lucrative) might be a good idea. Currently brainstorming on branding, image, logos, names and such, and then it's time to get a business plan together. It will be something more low-key and easy to manage than my last endeavours, so likely easier to get off the ground. Still, interms of May 2-4, I'd love to do something a bit more relaxing and healing than work, work, work... ideas?

Not that my larger endeavours have died, of course, but one can only do so much with a broken heart... more on the optimistic side soon enough!
