Oscar buzzz

OK, so I went to see Brokeback Mountain last weekend. It was good, but not that good.

The story was a bit interesting, though what I REALLY loved were the mountains and the natural scenes. That, and the actors' and director's combined ability to take Heath "Knight's Tale" Ledger and Jake "Donnie Darko" Gyllenhal and make us forget all about their acting pasts. For a few brief hours, they seemed to be real cowboys.

Well, gay cowboys, that is.

Who apparently never figure out "hey, we're gay, it's the 60's, we're right next to California. Why don't we just move on out to San Francisco and live our lives there?"

Aaaanyways...scroll way down to see my picks (Blogger and tables don't seem to be getting along at the moment)
